WHAT IS A NATION FOR ? IS IT FOR ITS PEOPLE? or IS IT TO MAINTAIN THE STATUS QUO, SUPPORTING AND MAINTAINING A NATION FOR THE FEW, THE RICH AND POLITICALLY POWERFUL?
BREXIT was a great first step.
We want to encourage a new grass roots political system and movement to begin and grow. One that is owned by and operated and focused upon the People and their real needs, a method that seeks to have real democratic control over our representatives. The ideas are outlined in the pages here. P2PPeople as the title indicates is a movement centred upon the people of the nation, and not one constructed as all today’s democracies are: as pyramidal power structures. We want to flatten these out.
Due to BLOCKCHAIN technology this is now possible. That’s the P2P part which incorporates Peer to Peer networking between participants computers and mobile devices, within the general internet as a web location and more interestingly with pockets of local self contained Mesh systems, that’s what we want to encourage. A BREAK-AWAY FROM THE CURRENT SERVICES THAT NOT ONLY ACT AGAINST THE PEOPLES INTEREST THESE SERVICES ACTUALLY SPY UPON US ALL.
Such networks operating between like minded individuals; national – international and locally within low cost WiFi Mesh systems, can over time grow and converge together. This type of merging of technology and political grass roots methods operating through them should appeal and really engage all those that feel the current systems disenfranchises them, especially so with young people. These are the very ones who should embrace this new age political system – it provides them, their voice, its technology they are conversant with and its their future.
We need to change the systems we have today into those of tomorrow, new methods that will engage the people by putting them, the people in the controlling seat.
New realisable policies adjusted and driven from the people themselves, democratically developed on and through both physical and virtual conferences (Skype) and put in place by officials elected to local / national parliaments that will focus entirely on the manifesto and policies of the P2P People and will serve them, in the knowledge of overseeing direct digital collective oversight.
Simply put P2PPeoples methods cuts out the middleman in politics: our current politicians: those that stand between the people and the policies that we the people want implementing. They stand in our way. In times now out moded, we needed elected representatives to go and represent our wishes, they were supposed to go to parliaments and councils and do that, to serve us the people; its called democracy. What we got was often not what we the people intended, as they the representatives had their own agendas, and were influenced by others and acquiesced too readily to the wishes of other forces. Controlling them from ages past right up to present times has been almost impossible. And on top they cheat on expenses!
Only now in our times can we resolve to change things and with firm ideas combined with modern technology systems we can at last achieve this. It won’t happen quick, they will oppose this. But it will happen. These ideas are of our time, to put the people in real and positive control of our representatives, with full visibility and fulfilment of the policies we want implemented, that’s the role of a Public Servant. Which ironical they already claim to be, but their actions all across the globe prove the opposite.
We need a new political movement one not tarnished by those methods nor by the contributors of the ways of the past. We need to make a stand against none effective representation.
P2PPeoples technology, policies and methods will no doubt cause disambulation in politics and with politicians. They are the old new world order, we want none of that.
Politicians may disdain the concept of direct connection in politics, voting and removal of power central methods which we aim to make redundant. However they have their own agendas for keeping a two party system that always comes out the same, because they are not answerable, nor have responsibilities that we can call them to account for, other than voting in the other lot in five years time: due to the way things have been set up. With modern technology not only can we impose our policies, we can interact, modify and oversee them that do physically represent us, removing instantaneously those that may stray from the targets they have been given.
A new political party came from almost nowhere in Greece – Syriza: its leader, Alexis Tsipras is new to politics and represented the people in the face of their nation being taken over by an appointed unrepresentative Troica; pulling the ‘elected’ politicians strings and going against the clear wishes of the people. Change Europe. But he failed as the EC put in austerity which the people of Greece voted democraticaly against, once in the EU you cannot leave, and its do as THEY say!
We already have a national political structure that I believe is suffering from bureaucratic dysfunction, and now at the time of writing this in April 2016. We in the UK need to consider: do we really want our national government with all of its pate and unearthed future discrepancies, immoralities and corruptions to have a further layer added, as The European Union? And maybe worse, there are plans in the future for a world government: horror. We already have the dysfunctional United Nations which is merely an all-expenses-paid talking shop.
Today we have modern means to devolve all of this to the individual level utilising emergent technologies, covered in the final chapter.
Will we do it? Will we take up the ideas that could devolve power? Or will we believe the politicians that seek to ad yet another layer on top for more of the same by voting to stay in the EU to build larger and larger bureaucratic structures, and freeloader life long none jobs for those in positions of influence and power ? I predict if we do it will all be as the French say ‘merde allors’, just like yeast which eats everything then eats itself and dies within a pool of its own excrement – first said by Kurt Vonnegut.
We need devolution , no centralised power, technology can assist us.
It can be done!
